Pevino is one of the most popular brands amongst wine lovers, and not without reason. The Danish wine coolers are market leaders in the interaction between quality, design and function, and there is a model for even the most discerning wine lover. Pevino recently launched their New Generation series as their take on a wine cooler for the new decade.

Pevino – Danish design and premium quality

It has only taken Pevino a few years to become one of the most popular wine cooler brands on the market and among the best-selling here at Wineandbarrels. Pevino is a premium brand producing a range of wine coolers clearly inspired by the Scandinavian tradition for high quality, minimalism and functionality. Wineandbarrels carries the entire Pevino range of wine coolers, covering every wine lover’s need for safe and stylish wine storage.

The new generation

The most recent wine coolers from Pevino are the NG series models (New Generation), comprised of four different sizes with either one or two cooling zones. The New Generation wine coolers share a streamlined black design, high level of build quality, low noise level and market leading energy efficiency.

The NG-series wine coolers hold from 39 to 200 bottles and are all very well suited for discreet build-in in your kitchen. In other words, they will cover the needs of even the most passionate wine enthusiast.

The new Pevino NG46 and NG88. Both models are available with one or two cooling zones and shelf trim in either beech wood (standard), stainless steel or black aluminium (as shown here).

Cutting edge technology

It’s almost 2020, and with that in mind, noise level and energy consumption has been a top priority for the Pevino designers. That’s why wine coolers in the NG-series are among the most silent in their class and have A or A+ energy labels. One of the secrets behind the low noise level is the use of the best compressor on the market, the so-called Embraco Inverter, and the energy consumption is kept low by the clever LOW-E glass doors.

The wine coolers in the NG-series are available with one or two cooling zones. A single-zone wine cooler is ideal for the long-term storage of wine, but if you want perfectly chilled white or sparkling wine ready to serve for your guests, a dual-zone wine cooler might be just right. The NG-series cooling system on the dual zone models is unique in that the two zones work completely independent of each other. Traditional dual-zone wine coolers typically have one zone dedicated to cooler temperatures (for white, sparkling etc.) while the other zone is dedicated to red wine. The Pevino NG dual-zone models have two completely separate cooling systems, giving you full control over the temperature in both zones. Choose which zone you want to use for whites and which zone you want to use for reds or set both zones to the same temperature. It’s all up to you.

An eye on the details

The Pevino designers not only created a good-looking wine cooler crammed with all the latest technology, they also focused on the little details, that really make the NG-series stand out. The wine coolers in the NG-series have fully retractable (80%) easy-access shelves made of solid beech wood with customizable trim (choose between black aluminium and stainless steel). Inside the wine cooler the LED-light lets you choose between three beautiful colours and the info-display gives you full control over the wine cooler's interior temperature.

The wine coolers in the Pevino NG-series are visually impressive, technologically superior and a great choice for a premium-class wine cooler for the upcoming 2020s.

Hi there, interesting read. I am considering a Pevino NG or a Swisscave Wlb460fl, what is your experience with both brands? I need shelves that accomodaye some champagne bottles and maybe a few magnums, aesthetics arent the biggest issue but it will be installed in my dining room so it needs to look good and not to loud. I have found the Swisscave on here as well: https://www.elitefridges.co.uk/collections/swisscave Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Stephen
