Here at Wineandbarrels, we are passionate about wine and wine equipment and we regard helping other wine lovers fulfil their dreams, whether that being an exclusive bottle opener, a new wine cooler or a wine room to evoke jealousy, to be our most important duty.

Wineandbarrels was founded in 2008 by Jakob Dau and the company is built around Jakob’s great passion for wine, wine storing, wine equipment and not least his knowledge and interest in being a good merchant, who finds and develops the right products at the right prices in favour of the customers.

Today we are Europe’s largest retailer and distributor of wine equipment, and our web shops cover the whole of Europe. Besides our web shops, we also have physical showrooms in Hillerød, Fredericia, Stockholm, Oslo and Düsseldorf.

Wineandbarrels is a 100% Danish owned company, and we strive to be a responsible work place for our more than 50 employees, where everyone thrives and where it is fun to go to work every day.

Wineandbarrels received the Gazelle award from Børsen in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Jakob was himself one of the customers in the world of wine and his experiences were that the existing products on the market weren’t up to date, and he saw opportunities for innovation and development. He therefore travelled out into the world and found several products in the leading wine countries of Europe. Simultaneously, he developed a number of products with new features and designs like for example PeVino and Cavecool wine coolers, Caverack wine racks and wine equipment. There is still a large focus on the development of new products, and this is largely based on the feedback, which we receive from our customers.

This fundamental interest for wine and wine equipment can be felt in all corners of the company, where employees and customers share their passion for the precious drops.

As wine lovers and specialists in wine equipment and solutions for storing wine, we are very attentive to the fact that flavour and needs variate from each individual, which is why you will always find the largest selection of products on our web shops and in our showrooms. As a matter of fact, we have the world’s largest selection in storage- and equipment for wine.

Our newest addition to the family is the Crucave brand. Crucave is a tribute to Jakob's own love of wine and is a gift to wine enthusiasts across Europe. His mission was clear - to deliver top shelf bespoke wine cellar solutions that not only meet but also exceed expectations and have become the epitome of exceptional wine cellars everywhere.

Experience before purchase – both online and in our showrooms

You have the opportunity to design your very own personal wine room with our online decoration program, or you can get help from one of our interior experts who can design a draft for you. Many of our products you can also experience at home by inserting the product in 3D with your mobile phone (augmented reality).

In our showrooms, you can also experience and compare many of our products before you decide, and our skilled product experts are ready to guide you to the perfect solution for you. You can of course also make an appointment in advance, and we will be happy to offer you a cup of coffee upon arrival!

As an ongoing feature, we also arrange events in our showrooms where you get the chance to meet other wine enthusiasts, participate in wine tastings, product demonstrations and lots more.

If it isn’t possible for you to visit our showrooms personally, you can also book an online presentation directly on your computer or mobile phone. In this way, you can sit and relax at home while via sound and picture being shown some of our most popular products by our showroom staff.
