Get a practical, slim wine fridge

Are you looking for a slim wine fridge that fits in your kitchen without taking up too much space? At Wineandbarrels, we offer smaller wine cabinets that are perfect for narrow settings. You can choose from different designs and sizes, meaning you can find variants that hold only a few wine bottles as well as fridges with room for several wines.

Our slim, built-in wine fridges can easily be added to your kitchen, making them a natural part of the cabinetry. However, you can also get a freestanding variant that can be placed anywhere you like.

Slim wine fridges for tight spaces

At Wineandbarrels, you can explore a range of slim wine fridges that can store your favourite wines at optimal temperatures. A narrow wine fridge is great for tight spaces, so this option is ideal if you have a smaller kitchen and want to keep a few bottles ready anytime.

If you have a large wine collection, our slim wine fridges may not hold all your bottles. However, if you have a separate wine room or cellar, perhaps a small wine cabinet for your kitchen is just what you need. The slimline wine cooler allows you to store a few wines within close proximity so that you can open a bottle if you have unexpected guests, or the evening suddenly calls for celebration.

Nonetheless, some of our smaller wine fridges can hold quite a selection of bottles. Some of our variants can even hold around 50 bottles, so you will still be able to store a fair amount of wine at the right temperature when you choose one of our slim wine fridges.

Choose a slim wine fridge with dual-zone

With a slim wine fridge with dual temperature zones, you get a versatile product that is made for wine serving. A dual-zone fridge is divided into two sections that make it possible to store both white wine and red wine in the same wine cabinet. The fridge has one zone at a temperature of around 7-8°C, which is suitable for whites. The other zone is around 17-18°C. This is ideal for red wine.

What is the difference between dual or single zone?

As mentioned, a dual-zone wine fridge is made to store both red and white wine at the same time, as it is divided into two zones with individual temperatures. This is great if you want to store wine for immediate serving.

As the name states, a single-zone fridge only has one zone with one temperature. This means that you should choose either to store white wine at 7°C or red wine at 17°C - not both at the same time. Ultimately, the single-zone fridge is optimal for long-term storage.

Get small freestanding or built-in wine fridges

Our slimline wine coolers are either freestanding, built-in, or both. This means you can choose a freestanding variant that can be placed anywhere in the kitchen - or elsewhere. This type of fridge has finished sides and can stand on its own.

Contrarily, our slim, built-in wine fridges are to be combined with the cabinetry in your kitchen. This type of wine cooler is incorporated into the kitchen as any other module, such as a dishwasher or a cupboard. The built-in fridge gives you an elegant way to store your wines.

Before you buy a wine fridge

You may want to consider a few things before you buy a slim wine fridge. First of all, you should think about how much storage space you need. Should you choose one of the smallest variants because you only need to store a limited number of wines? Or is it best to get one of the slimline wine fridges that can hold many more of your favourite bottles?

You should also contemplate whether you want a built-in or freestanding version. This depends on where you want to place the fridge. Do you want to add it to your kitchen setup, or would you like to be able to easily move the fridge as you please?

Lastly, you might consider if you want a single- or dual-zone fridge, allowing you to store both reds and whites. There are benefits to both variants, but it all depends on your needs and habits.

Wine coolers suitable for a large bottle collection

If your storage needs require a larger wine cooler, we can also help you with this. At Wineandbarrels, we have a large selection of wine fridges that hold more than 100 bottles. You can get both built-in and freestanding wine coolers in these larger sizes.

You can experience wine coolers from several brands, such as Pevino and Cavecool. These brands offer stylish and cool wine fridges at affordable prices. This way, you do not have to spend your entire savings to store your wines optimally.

Tips for installing a slim wine fridge

You can install your slimline wine cooler yourself. First and foremost, you want to make sure that the measurements are precise if you choose a built-in version. Dimensions are important to make the final results as best as possible, and this includes ensuring that there is enough space for the door to open properly. Wrongful measurements are a classic mistake when people buy a built-in wine fridge.

The slim, built-in wine cooler needs to be able to get rid of hot air behind the fridge. Therefore, we usually recommend a ventilation duct either to the nearest kitchen cabinets or in the tabletop.

You can have your wine fridge delivered to your address, or you can choose to pick it up yourself. If you do this, you need to make sure it stands upright during transport. If not, the cooling system and compressor can be damaged.

When you have placed the fridge where you want it, you should wait 24-48 hours before connecting power to the cooler. It is best if the fridge stands still in a levelled position after transport.

Before filling the cooler with wine, ensure that there is room for the air to circulate to get a constant temperature in the cooling zone.
