Spiegelau Willsberger Anniversary

Here you will find Spiegelau’s beautiful Wilssberger Anniversary series – when a costly mouth-blown classic becomes available for every budget.

Spiegelau has successfully produced world-famous mouth-blown lenses designed by Johann Willsberger for more than 30 years.

Spiegelau is now able to produce the glasses by machine, which makes them significantly cheaper without compromising on design. The series is called Willsberger Anniversary, and here you can set a very beautiful table with a glass for every drink you want to serve.

The unique and easily recognisable shape of the glasses makes them style icons.

Bubbles and white wine
It all starts with the super elegant and stylish champagne glass, which is shaped as an intermediate between a baguette and a white wine glass. Even though the design is more than 30 years old, the shape of the glass is of the highest fashion right now. Here you can serve your bubbles of any kind, but also a delicious aperitif such as a chir, a Campari or even an Aperol.

If you want your aperitif to be more in tune with Vermouth and an olive, there’s also the most elegant Martini glass we’ve seen for a long time. We feel like saying “shaken, not stirred” when we hold this glass in our hand. "The names are Barrels. Wineandbarrels."

The highly versatile white wine glass can be used to serve not only white wine, but also dessert wines of both light and dark types. A glass of this type also makes a good sherry.

Two types of red wine
Spiegelau also has two types of red wine glasses in this series. One is designed with its high, slender edges for dry wines on cabernet sauvignon, merlot, sangiovese or malbec. You can naturally use the glass for a lot of other wines, but especially relatively young wines will look good in this glass. The burgundy glass is designed to be used for the more light and elegant red wines. The glass here will provide great justice for red wines of a certain age.

Three types of spirits
Uniquely, the Willsberger series is equipped with no less than three different spirit glasses. The low-slung whiskey glasses make for a tumbler glass with just a stalk and base. This is the glass of your old fashioned or whisky on the rocks.

The second spirit glass is what we call the Cognac glass. It is intended for the dark and aged spirits often served as a digestive or a liqueur with the coffee after dinner. It is a single malt or blended whisky of high carat, Cognac or Armagnac, Calvados, fine rum or old marc.

The third glass for spirits is what we simply call the spirit glass. It is intended for the light distillates such as clear grappa or eau de vie. The glass is also great for liqueurs such as Grand Marnier or Chartreuse.

If you’re the kind of person who likes a cool pilsner after a good dinner, then the elegant pilsner glass is perfect for the purpose.

The carafe has a very special design, which stands out by being equipped with a stem and a base as if it were a wine glass.

Whatever drink you pour into the glass, Spiegelau’s Willsberger Anniversary is sure to set a table that stands out.
